Will 2024 Dallas Cowboys even make playoffs? These Super Bowl champions think not

The NFL has released the full schedule for the 2024 season and the Dallas Cowboys have the 14th hardest schedule in the NFL.

Despite their schedule not being among the league’s hardest, ESPN pundit and 2009 Super Bowl champion Ryan Clark doesn’t think the Cowboys are a playoff team.

Clark was on ESPN’s Get UP on Tuesday when he delivered the proclamation

“This team won the [NFC] East last year, they are not going to win the [NFC] East this year, that’s a worse team,” Clark said, “and they probably won’t make the playoffs if you ask me.”

Damien Woody, a two-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots, questioned how the Cowboys would address deficiencies from last season.

“Right now I think they’re a worse team. Listen, they got to replace a couple pieces on the offensive line, who’s playing running back, and then on defense can they stop the run? They haven’t shown that,” Woody said.

The Cowboys didn’t sign any big-name players in free agency while losing several starters including Tyron Smith, Tony Pollard and Tyler Biadasz among others.

The Cowboys have won 12 games in each of the last three seasons, yet FanDuel Sportsbook sets the Cowboys win total at 10.5 games which would be their fewest since the 2020 season.
