Sixteen teams are headed for the boys’ high school basketball state tournament at Rupp Arena in Lexington next week, and we now know all their names.

Ten regional champions were crowned Tuesday night after the previous six title games played out Sunday and Monday.

Those 16 champions fill a winner-take-all, single-elimination bracket to decide the state champion next Wednesday through Saturday. This week, the Girls’ Sweet 16 is taking center stage in Rupp Arena.

Four boys’ first-round games are set for March 15 followed by another four March 16. The quarterfinals are March 17. The semifinals and championship game will take place March 18.
