YouTube star Landon Clifford dies at 19 after donating ‘several organs to people in need

Popular YouTube personality Landon Clifford has died at age 19, his wife confirmed in an emotional social media post.

“August 13th 2020 was Landon’s last day being the best dad and husband he could be,“ Camryn Clifford wrote on Instagram on Saturday.

“After spending the following 6 days in a coma he passed on and donated several organs to people in need all over the country,” she wrote, next to a photo of what appears to be Clifford on a hospital bed.

“He died saving the lives of others,” she wrote. “That’s the type of person he was. Compassionate, loving, thoughtful, kind, and gentle.”

Landon and Camryn ran the popular YouTube channel Cam&Fam, which followed their lives as teenage parents.

“I became a teen mommy at the age of 16 to my beautiful daughter Collette,” Camryn writes in their YouTube bio. In May the couple welcomed daughter no. 2, Delilah Rose.

Their videos have been watched nearly 185 million times; the channel has more than 1.29 million subscribers.

According to a GoFundMe page set up to help with costs for the funeral, the “beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend” suffered a brain injury and died on Aug. 19.

“He was an amazing husband and the best father those girls could [have] ever asked for. It saddens me deeply that they will never get to truly know him. He was so young and had so much more life to live.”

“This isn’t how things were supposed to go. He was meant to make it to his next birthday. He was meant to walk his daughters down the isle. He was meant to die old with me,” Camryn wrote.

“Words can not come close to describe the pain I feel. All I can do now is make sure our girls know how much he loved us,” she added.
