Chrissy Teigen calls out celebrities over freebie requests: ‘You’re literally rich’
Chrissy Teigen is calling out some of her famous friends after they apparently asked for freebies from her cookware line.
The author and television personality, who sells her Cravings kitchen and tabletop collection through Target, shared the comments in a series of posts on her Instagram Stories. The posts came after other celebrities, such a Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian, shared videos of a “Cravings essentials” basket they’d received from Tiegen, according to BuzzFeed.
We found literally the only tool you need to make delicious grilled food in the safety of your own home this summer.
However, it seemed as though other celebrities had also asked Teigen for boxes, as she later shared on Instagram.
“Please don’t ask for a box,” Teigen wrote in a now-expired post. “My marketing budget is not infinite but my love for you is. Also I see some of u asking and you’re literally rich.”
That message was followed by a series of videos, in which the best-selling author specified that she was only referring to her “friends,” who had the money to afford their own Cravings products.
“That was honestly just meant for my friends that are literally writing, saying, ‘Uh, mine hasn’t gotten here yet?’ And that’s ’cause, uh, I didn’t send it to you,” Teigen said, according to BuzzFeed.
Teigen also urged her friends to hang tight, mentioning that not all of her “essentials” boxes had been sent out yet.

The comments come just weeks after Teigen’s Cravings line sparked a high-profile feud between her and New York Times food columnist Alison Roman.
That controversy, which began when Roman called Teigen’s food empire a “content farm,” led to a public apology and the temporary suspension of Roman’s column at The Times.
