Cardi B looks unrecognizable in videos from dancing days: 'She glowed up'
Before Cardi B was Cardi B, she was Belcalis Almánzar, an exotic dancer and social media personality living in New York.
And though it’s only been a few years since she rose to fame, the “Bodak Yellow” singer looks like a different person now compared to how she looked then.
On March 11, TikTok user nanerbananer_94 shared a video of Cardi back when she “was a dancer.”
In the video, Cardi is unrecognizable: She’s sporting little to no makeup and a pixie cut with vibrant red highlights.

“Hey, Merry Christmas Ariana,” Cardi says in the video, taken by the TikTok user’s “mom” and what appears to be Cardi’s former coworker.
In another old video uploaded by nanerbananer_94, Cardi is rocking a purple wig and looks slightly more like herself.

“Ariana hi! Glad you’re back in New York,” Cardi says to the camera.
Many TikTok users can’t believe how much Cardi has changed physically.
“When does she have the ‘let me speak to your manager’ haircut?” one person joked.
“She glowed up,” another user added.
Other people noted how Cardi was just as bubbly then as she is now.
“She still so happy and iconic i luv her,” one person wrote.
“She has to have her own movie periodt,” another user said.
