Watch this woman transform into a glamorous disco duchess drag queen

Tune into Dragged every Thursday, where drag queens Marti Gould Cummings and Jasmine Rice LaBeija help to transform and make over everyday people into their dream versions of drag queens.

As a high-powered career woman, Dee always felt she had to tone down her femininity in order to be taken seriously at work. But that thinking is a thing of the past. Dee is ready to unleash her feminine alter ego. Get ready to bow down to drag’s new glamorous disco duchess.

On the latest episode of “Dragged,” Dee enlists the help of hosts Marti Gould Cummings and Jasmine Rice LaBeija to help her harness feminine power and beauty through drag performance. When asked why she wants to become a drag queen, Dee says, “Because I missed out. I just missed out on glamour and this kind of beauty.”

Dee calls herself a “duchess,” explaining she’s enlisted the help of top queens to up her royal status.

“We’re going to take you from duchess to sovereign. Don’t you worry, girl,” Cummings says.

Cummings and LeBeija pick a ‘70s-inspired look for the glamorous disco duchess drag queen, including a sky-high purple wig and a bedazzled white jumpsuit. For makeup, Dee gets a fierce hot pink-hued eye look complete with gems and a metallic eyebrow.

“You can’t have a face like this without popping an attitude,” the contestant says. And she’s damn right.

After harnessing her feminine attitude through beauty, Dee picks her drag name: Della Duchess Della Spank. I mean, who can argue with a name like that?

The final transformation will certainly give you “Saturday Night Fever” vibes, and a lesson in the strength in femininity.

“Earlier you said that you had to put your femininity aside to be powerful, but for me, femininity is the most powerful.” Cummings says.

“That is why you are the queens and I’m a mere duchess,” Dee responds.

“Well, you’re our queen today,” Cummings responds. Bow down.
