Cult favorite candle brand Diptyque is majorly discounted on Nordstrom right now

In an unprecedented move, Nordstrom is suddenly offering its customers 25% off on everything on its website right now.

Perhaps the best part of Nordstrom’s surprise sale this week is that it also applies to some of our favorite luxury brands available at the popular retailer, meaning that we can snag some go-to splurge items at a (relative) bargain price.

Towards the top of that list? Diptyque, the Paris-based brand whose iconic candles are all over Instagram, are oftentimes burning in other high-end boutiques and serve a dual-purpose even after they’re done (more on that later!).

Nordstrom is mainly offering each Diptyque candle in two sizes: 2.4 oz and 6.5 oz. The smaller size normally retails for $36, but it’s now available for $27, while the larger offering’s price has temporarily dropped from $68 to $51.

The brand offers its candles in a variety of scents, but my favorite is perhaps Diptyque’s most recognizable: Baies/Berries, which is simultaneously subtle, fresh and fruity. I’ve been burning Baies candles in my apartment for years, and I’ve never gotten tired of it.

Other Diptyque scents carried by Nordstrom include Roses, Feu de Bois/Wood Fire, Ambre and Figuier/Fig Tree.

If the price tag, which is admittedly higher than your average candle, is daunting for you, know that, based on my experience, Diptyque candles appear to last longer than other brands, providing more bang for your buck.

As I mentioned above, another huge plus of purchasing a Diptyque candle is that it serves two purposes: In addition to offering weeks and weeks (depending on how often you burn it!) of comforting scent in your home, the chic glass jar that it comes in (adorned with the iconic black-and-white label) can serve as a storage vessel once you’ve reached the end of the wick.
