Heels are a staple. Whether you wear them on a special occasion or to the office, added inches to your footwear will instantly elevate any outfit. And while, they might not always be practical or comfortable, Everlane’s latest shoe silhouette further proves that heels can totally be sensible.

With just a 1.4 inch, Everlane’s Editor Slingback heel was designed with maximum comfort in mind for all-day wear. The pointed toe was made wider for a more roomy fit, while the cushioned insole adds support. It’s basically a chic and functional alternative to your traditional flats.

“Forget the pinchy reputation –– our pointed heel was designed for maximum comfort. First we widened the toe shape to have just enough wiggle room, then added a cushioned insole, an elastic back, and a walkable heel,” the brand explained.

Available in five different colorways –– bone, black, rosewood, spearmint and snake print –– the shoe also comes in fabric choices like nappa leather and suede.
