Mesmerizing video shows how suitcases are made

Today in “Oddly Satisfying” — footage shot at a factory in China shows exactly how those popular, brightly colored suitcases are made.

The video above, shot by Chaoxu Luggage Machinery, shows each plastic piece of luggage being thrust into a vacuum-forming machine to set the bright exterior casing in place — and the process is absolutely mesmerizing.

The company, located in Wenzhou City, a port and industrial city in China’s Zhejiang province, has supplied luggage-making equipment to factories around the world since 1992.

As shown in the video, the finished product looks similar to this popular — and very highly rated — luggage set sold on Amazon.

Many fans of the luggage have touted the set for being lightweight and extremely easy to move.

“This luggage is awesome,” one happy customer wrote. “We went to Hawaii for 10 days held all of our items plus a few extra on the trip home. The suitcases are lightweight and roll with ease. I loved the zippered section nothing fell out. The wheels roll well especially in the busy airport. Outsides are very durable. You can pull the handle up and set your backpack or extra bags on top nothing falls off. This is the best luggage I have owned so far.”
