Jordyn Woods on body positivity, diversity and Stormi

Jordyn Woods is more than just a flawless face. She's also more than just Kylie Jenner's right hand. Woods is a passionate and smart body-positivity activist with a mind of her own.

The 21-year-old model turned entrepreneur has a long roster of projects under her belt. She recently launched a line of lashes with Eylure, which can be found across major retailers including ULTA, Target and CVS. Woods has also pioneered a plus-size activewear line called SECNDNTURE -- all while working with massive brands such as ASOS and Boohoo along the way.

AOL caught up with the multi hyphenate millennial during New York Fashion Week at the Red Dress Collection show, which brings celebrities together to raise awareness to heart disease. From diversity on the runways to more and more mega retailers putting inclusive sizing on the sales floor, the fashion industry might be making strides but Woods notes there's still "a long way to go."

"It's difficult because we do have a long way to go, but in terms of race and diversity, people are trying to use different types of models. Something I push for is body diversity which is happening slowly. I haven't seen a huge shift yet but I think people are starting to understand that it's important to make that shift -- so people are slowly starting to get there. But, a lot of people are still scared or just not wanting to try something new," she said.

"Body positivity isn't defined by anything external. It's about what's inside and you wanting to be the best version of yourself. That't what body positivity is to me -- loving yourself and wanted to be the best version of yourself."

"Life is really short. I lost my dad a couple years back just suddenly. Anything when it comes to health related purposes, I'm always down to participate and make people aware."

Kylie Jenner recently took to her Instagram to share a glimpse of a tropical vacation, she, Jordyn and her daughter one-year-old Stormi went on to celebrate her first birthday. The trio looked adorable sporting. matching neon bathing suits.

"We're not done celebrating. I look at her [Stormi] like a child to me too. I would do anything for her so everyday is her birthday to me," Jordyn told us of Stormi's first birthday.
