Korean Tour's top golfer suspended for 3 years after giving a fan the middle finger
A Korean golfer received a three-year ban after flipping off a fan.
Bio Kim was leading at the DGB Financial Group Volvik Daegu Gyeongbuk Open over the weekend when a fan's phone camera went off during his downswing, leading to an errant shot.
Kim raised his middle finger at the fan in frustration, before going on to win the tournament.
On Monday, the Korean Professional Golfers' Association unanimously voted for Kim's three-year ban from the Tour, saying that he had "damaged the dignity of a golfer."

Kim held a one-shot lead at the DGB Financial Group Volvik Daegu Gyeongbuk Open when he teed up at the 16th hole. During his downswing, a phone camera sounded from the crowd, prompting Kim to flip off the fan for the interruption after his errant shot.
The incident was caught by cameras during the broadcast.
Kim would go on to win the tournament, but will not be able to compete for three years on the Korean Tour after being banned for his middle finger. While Kim would apologize for the gesture, it wouldn't prove enough to ease his punishment.
Kim is leading the Korean Tour in earnings this season.
On Monday the Korean Professional Golfers' Association unanimously voted on a three-year ban for Kim's display, as well as a fine the U.S. equivalent of $8,350, according to Golf Channel.
"Kim Bi-o damaged the dignity of a golfer with etiquette violation and inappropriate behavior," the Korean Tour said in a statement.
