Inside the $40 million Hamptons home that hosted a fundraiser for President Trump

Inside Edition's Diane McInerney got exclusive access to the swanky New York home where a fundraiser was held to benefit President Trump Friday.

The $40 million Hamptons mansion owned by Joe Farrell has 16 bedrooms and 19 bathrooms. Its 2,000-square-foot master bedroom is bigger than the average house in America. There's a bowling alley, a basketball court, indoor skate park and even a mini-theater.

The home is a popular summer rental for the rich and famous, going for $250,000 a week. Farrell told Inside Edition he's had Beyonce and Jay-Z stay in the mansion, but he was most honored to host Trump.

"It's the greatest honor of my life," he said.

Donors paid $2,800 for general admission to the fundraiser to benefit Trump. Costs went up from there for a private session with the president. A single photo ran a pricey $35,000.

Outside in the Hamptons community, protesters lined the streets. But they had no effect on Farrell's fundraiser, or another hosted by tycoon Stephen Ross, owner of Equinox. Farrell's was totally sold out.

"It's very successful," he said.
