Owner of controversial 3D-printed gun company in Texas accused of sexually assaulting a minor he met online

Cody Wilson, the Texas man who sparked a fierce debate with his controversial 3D-printed gun company, has been accused of sexually assaulting a minor, according to court documents.

The arrest affidavit, filed in Travis County District Court on Wednesday, does not specify the victim’s age — describing her only as a “juvenile female under the age of 17.”

During a forensic interview with the Center for Child Protection last month, the victim said she created an online profile using the website SugarDaddyMeet.com and exchanged messages with Wilson, who was operating under the screen name “Sanjuro.”

Wilson told the victim he was a “ big deal” and they continued their exchange by way of the Apple iMessage service on the victim’s phone, according to court documents.

The pair allegedly met for the first time in the parking lot of Bennu Coffee on Aug. From there, they drove together to the Archer Hotel where “she and Wilson engaged in sexual intercourse and oral intercourse on the hotel room’s bed,” according to the affidavit.

When they were finished, the Texas business man allegedly paid her in five $100 bills before dropping her in a Whataburger parking lot.

According to court documents, Wilson and the girl were caught on surveillance footage in several locations including entering the hotel elevator. And a security camera from Bennu coffee captured the victim getting into a black Ford Edge registered to Wilson’s business, Defense Distributed.

Wilson has not yet been booked into the Travis County Jail as of Wednesday morning, according to the American-Statesman.
