NBC News unveils first promo for ‘Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly’ (Video)

Megyn Kelly's magazine style show "Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly" will debut on June 4 at 7 p.m. ET and the network rolled out its first promo on Thursday night.

The spot promises "sharp, strong journalism and the power of NBC News" before Kelly is heard saying, "You have to tell this story."

"Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly" will have a limited run over this summer and will return after the football and Winter Olympics in 2018. She will also host a weekday morning show that is scheduled to debut in the fall.

Kelly was the most-watched woman in cable news last year when she emerged as a household name at Fox News amid an on-going public feud with then-presidential candidate Donald Trump but left the network for a new role at NBC.

Fox News offered Kelly $100 million over four years to remain at the network, a person close to the situation told TheWrap back in January. News Corp and 21st Century Fox executive co-chairman Lachlan Murdoch personally made the offer, but Kelly turned it down without countering, choosing instead to join NBC.

Kelly's NBC schedule will allow her to spend more time with her young children, as opposed to hosting a primetime show on Fox News that kept her away most nights. Check out the video above.
