Dishonored 2 gets November release date, new details

Updated

It's a glorious day when any game gets a release date. Especially one as anticipated as Dishonored 2. Arkane Studio's follow-up to the 2012 stealth game was one of the biggest surprises of last year's E3, and subsequently one of our most looked forward to games of the year. And, thankfully, we know the game will indeed be released this year, as Dishonored 2 has been set for a November 11th release date.

Also revealed alongside the release date was a list of renowned actors who will be lending their voices to the game. The original game was no slouch in this department, featuring vets like Lena Headey (Game of Thrones), John Slattery (Mad Men), Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass) as well as others, and it seems the sequel isn't backing away from the star power either.

Featuring in the game will be Vincent D'Onofrio (Daredevil), Rosario Dawson (also of Daredevil), Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones), Sam Rockwell (Moon), Jamie Hector (The Wire), andRobin Lord Taylor (Gotham). Lending their vocals to the two playable characters will be Stephen Russell and Erica Luttrell, both of fellow Bethesda published game Fallout 4.

With a cast list that talented, and the pedigree of the first game, Dishonored 2 is very much setting itself up to be one of the fall's heavier hitters. More from the game will be seen during Bethesda's E3 press conference, including the first real demo of gameplay. Stay tuned for more info on not only this game, but all games, as E3 slowly approaches!
