Blizzard's Newest Drug, Overwatch, Can Be Shot Directly Into Your Bloodstream This May

Updated

The coming of a new Blizzard game is always a big deal, but no more so than with Overwatch. The upcoming game is Blizzard's first IP built entirely from the ground up since Starcraft way back in 1998 and, well the company has done just fine for itself focusing on Diablo, World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, and other long running established properties. Like Hearthstone, which is the best of all of those.

Overwatch is the first time in nearly two decades in which Blizzard is releasing something entirely new to its longtime fans. And considering how the game is a first person multiplayer shooter, its bar for success is pretty dang high. Thankfully we won't have long to wait until we can see for ourselves if the game can match all the hype, as Blizzard has announced a release date for the game...and it's right around the corner.

Of course you already know that, looking at the headline that proclaims the whole "May" thing. But hey, you don't know the exact date, so jokes on you really. Until now of course, when I tell you that Overwatch will be arriving for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One on May 24th. But the headline didn't mention that there would be an open, free beta for the game starting on May 5th and running through May 9th, so there's room for surprise in this article yet!

Except no, not anymore, since that's pretty much all the news here we have for the game. But why not check out a trailer, if you're still here anyways? After all, it's never too early to get hype for Overwatch. We for one are way too hyped for this game. You could say...overhyped.
