Watch Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire & more pay tribute to Dolly Parton at the 2016 CMA Awards

Dolly Parton won the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2016 CMA Awards, and to celebrate, the association put together an all-star tribute featuring some of country music's most beloved women, from Jennifer Nettles to Carrie Underwood.

Kicking off with an a capella rendition of "Jolene" courtesy of Nettles and Pentatonix, the medley continued with "9 to 5" from Reba -- who flubbed the opening lyrics, charmingly: "I saw Dolly and I got messed up!" she said before completing the classic working woman's anthem. Kacey Musgraves performed Dolly's 1977 hit "Here You Come Again," and the medley wrapped with (of course) "I Will Always Love You": first with Carrie Underwood and Martina McBride, then with the complete cast of singers. Dolly was crying, as was, probably, most of the audience. "Gosh dangit Dolly, we love you to pieces," concluded Reba.
