Pregnant 'Teen Mom 2' star Jenelle Evans steps out in NYC, defends her 9/11 comments
Jenelle Evans got into the spirit of New York City over the weekend. The Teen Mom 2 star was spotted out in Manhattan with her boyfriend, David Eason, showing off her growing baby bump in a fitted grey dress and lace-up nude heels.
But the MTV standout caught some flack online for her comments about 9/11 on the 15th anniversary of the tragedy.

Evans first tweeted, "Flying back from NYC and cannot believe that tragedy happened. #WeWillNeverForget #WorldTradeCenter," adding, "Sorry for everyone that lost their family or friends. My uncle retired a week before. I can almost relate. #NeverForge #Remember911."

Some people online took offense to Evans' words, and she quickly defended herself.
"If my uncle hadn't of retired he would have been dead right now," she wrote. "So no 140 characters isn't enough to explain... Reason I said 'almost can relate'. No, I don't know how much hurt and pain it would cause me. Clearly stated that."

Controversy aside, Evans has plenty to celebrate in her life these days. She's 20 weeks along in her pregnancy, expecting her first baby girl with Eason. She's already mom to son, Jace, with ex, Andrew Lewis, and son, Kaiser, with ex-fiance, Nathan Griffith.
"Time to introduce the world to our baby girl soon, Ensley Jolie Eason. She will be arriving Jan. 28th. We couldn't be any happier!" she captioned a pregnancy announcement photo in late August.
