Steph Curry's new app has topped Kim Kardashian — here's what it's like

The NBA Finals start tonight, and with it comes the promise of an epic battle between basketball titans Steph Curry and LeBron James.

But Steph Curry has already won a victory against a formidable foe.

Curry's new emoji app, StephMoji, has bested Kim Kardashian's emoji app, Kimoji, and currently sits at the top of the paid US App Store.

Kimoji surged up the App Store charts in late May, and looked like it was going to regain the top spot until it was stopped dead in its tracks by the release of StephMoji on June 1. The two apps have sat in first and second place on charts since Wednesday, according to app-tracking firm App Annie.

StephMoji gives you a custom keyboard of Steph Curry emojis, featuring themes like Chef Curry and his daughter Riley. The app costs $1.99.

Here's what it's like to use:

First you have to buy the app for $1.99.

StephMoji gives you access to a wide variety of Stephs you can use to react in video or image form.

Here's him dancing.

You can make him big.

Or small.

See his family.

Including his parents.

Of course there are many references to Chef Curry.

And the iconic mouth guard.

There are some more cringeworthy emojis.

And as someone who grew up in Oakland, I'm personally offended there is only a reference 415 (San Francisco) area code, and not the 510 as well.

But the main point is how amazing Steph is at basketball.

Moving onto the technical aspects, there are a few ways for you to send your Stephs. You can either navigate to the app and then choose how to send, or install the keyboard, which is much easier.

To install the keyboard you go to General under the main Settings app.

Then to Keyboard.

Then to the different keyboards you have installed.

Then all that remains is selecting StephMoji.

And then allowing it full access.

After you allow it, StephMojis will pop up just like normal emojis (as an option when you are typing in any app).

Just hold down on this icon.

And the keyboard option will pull it up.

Then you can send.
