Fire breaks out at TGI Fridays in Union Square

A fire broke out earlier Tuesday afternoon inside the Union Square location of TGI Fridays but has been contained. Videos taken by witnesses depict smoke billowing out of the building's second-story windows, though the fire itself is not visible in them. The New York Fire Department sent trucks to the scene, where a crowd gathered, and tweeted through it's official alert system that the situation is under control.
