The legal marijuana industry brought in more than $5.4 billion last year, surpassing sales of some of the best-loved food and drink brands, including Dasani water and Twizzlers. Below, check out an infographic from the research firm Statista that compares pot sales in Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, and Washington, D.C. with sales of various packaged goods. Side by side, it looks as though the popular cannabis strain known as "Girl Scout Cookies" may be an even bigger hit than Samoas and Thin Mints.
