Gwen Stefani channels her inner geisha! The "Misery" singer, 46, shared some photos from a secret project on social media Sunday night, posing in a kimono and using the hashtag #pricelessjapan.

Stefani's wrap was mint green with red and pink flowers printed down the sleeves. She wore a red and white checked belt to complete the look. The platinum blonde singer took several pics in the getup, looking out a window and onto a Japanese garden in one.

She also shared a split throwback shot of her younger self in a red and white kimono with the caption, "#pricelessjapan gx wow!"

This isn't the first time Stefani has shown her affinity for Japanese culture. Back in 2004, the No Doubt frontwoman was criticized for her use of four Asian dancers she called the Harajuku Girls, naming a song after them and "renaming" them "Love," "Angel," Music," "Baby" after her album title.

In 2014, Stefani defended her decisions, telling Time Magazine, "You can look at it from a negative point of view if you want to, but get off my cloud. Because, seriously, that was all meant out of love."

Over the weekend, Saturday Night Live announced that Stefani would be performing during the April 2 episode.
