Forget flowers this Valentine's Day -- get your sweetheart a cockroach instead.

The Bronx Zoo in New York City is bringing back its popular 'Name a Roach' promotion. For $10, the zoo will name one if its Madagascar hissing cockroaches after your love bug and send you a digital certificate to give you on February 14.

"Love is like a roach," the zoo's website boldly declares.

"Tens of thousands of roaches remain nameless and would make a great symbol of your love," the zoo wrote on the ordering page.

"Your donation will also help us protect these misunderstood love bugs, along with a lot of other animals, both big and small."

Although it might not be the sexiest way to say "I Love You" on Valentine's Day, it could make the heart beat faster – from fear.
