Idina Menzel Sells LA House and Hints About a 'Frozen 2'
The star couple, who last year announced plans to divorce, asked $2.995 million for their sleek, six-bedroom, five-bath home in Studio City with vaulted ceilings and a two-story foyer. The couple bought the nearly 5,000 square-foot house in 2010 for $2.09 million. They have sold it at $2.55 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Menzel, of course, is the magnificent voice of Elsa in Disney's "Frozen." "Let it Go," which fast became Menzel's signature song, was nominated for an Oscar.
Little girls the world over (and super "Frozen" fan Rosie O'Donnell) are rejoicing over Menzel's recent indications to the British news outlet The Telegraph that a "Frozen" film sequel and stage musical are "all in the works." Is Menzel, who lit up Broadway in "Wicked," signing up for both?
"Not the stage show –- I don't know what will happen with that -- but the movie hopefully," she told the Telegraph. "We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride."
Menzel later backtracked a bit, telling the "Today" show, "I have no idea," when asked about a second film in the franchise. "I just assume that because it's so successful that that's what they're up to."
