Chili's Cook Fired for 'Sexy' Facebook Pics

What goes on in a restaurant kitchen is a mystery most diners probably wish would remain just that: a mystery. And when a cook goes ahead and posts photos of themselves posing shirtless in the kitchen and lying down on a prep table, it's not doing much to help matters.

That's exactly what a cook who calls himself Justin J. Speekz did, and now he's paying for it with his job. Speekz, formerly of the Chili's restaurant in Valrico, Fla., took his shirt off for a few kitchen shots he then posted to Facebook, labeling them "Sexy Cooks of Chili's" (the photos have since been removed). As for whether you find his probing eyes, pierced nipples, and backwards "I Heart Weed" hat sexy...well, we'll let you be the judge of that.

WFTS Tampa Bay reported that Speekz was fired after customers saw the pictures and complained. "Chili's clearly does not encourage this type of behavior in our restaurants," the restaurant told WFTS in a statement. "We maintain very high standards of food quality, safety and cleanliness and took immediate steps to ensure the restaurant continues to follow these requirements."

However, according to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, which regulates Florida restaurants, no actual violations appear in Speekz's photos due to the absence of food preparation. The Chili's where he worked also passed a surprise inspection after the photos were taken.

Whether or not the punishment fit the crime, at least the cook can fall back in his second career: he also raps as J. Speeks. Maybe this whole experience will give him some good material. In the meantime, stare into those probing eyes...
