We've all dealt with customer service representatives, those disembodied voices helping you over the phone (most likely with varying success) with various company or purchase-related matters. Love 'em or hate 'em, the customer service field is currently blowing up in the United States--big time. Matt Zemon, chairman of the nonprofit group Jobs4America calculates 180,000 call center jobs were created nationally in 2012, bringing home the one career path most firmly associated with outsourcing.

2. Warehouse Workers

Without warehouse workers, everything we've ever purchased would still be sitting in a building somewhere. The rise of online shopping sites like Amazon has made warehouses a hot spot for hiring; many of the seasonal positions available this year will be in the distribution centers that serve as the point of departure for your beauty products and Star Trek box sets.

3. Accountant

Benjamin Franklin once said that the only two sureties in life are death and taxes. Maybe that accounts (sorry!) for the popularity of accounting jobs, which are frequently in high demand. You'll need to become a CPA to get started, but while some jobs are at the mercy of the economy, the economy itself isn't going away. Neither are accountants.

4. Human Resources Managers

CareerCast named it one of the ten best jobs of 2013, and with high income and low stress, it's easy to see why.
