Raiden through the ages of Mortal Kombat

Raiden is the thunder god, eternal protector of the earth-realm, and one of the first (and probably the best) Mortal Kombat characters of all time. He has a plethora of awesome superpowers such as the ability to teleport, control over lightning, and flight. TAKE THAT THOR!

While Raiden has experienced some changes now an then in MK history, he has always been a fan favorite and will always remain an iconic member of the Mortal Kombat series. In anticipation for Mortal Kombat X, let us take a look back at Raiden's humble beginnings-- starting with the original 1992 arcade edition and going all the way up to his reveal in MKX.
