Should you buy a Wii U?

Updated

Since its debut in 2012, the Wii U has faced much criticism from fans and critics alike. However, at this year's E3, Nintendo finally wowed everyone with a fantastic showcase of new titles. Yoshi's Wooly World, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and Mario Maker are all making the Wii U a more desirable console. Not to mention the highly-anticipated Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, which has Nintendo fans who haven't yet purchased a Wii U in line ready to get their own.

So should YOU buy a Wii U? Our experts at USgamer duked it out and the majority said YES!

"Between the excellent games on the horizon, the full support for Wii software, and the steadily growing Virtual Console lineup, Wii U has become a no-brainer."

"...you'll be able to play games unavailable anywhere else-and, as expected from Nintendo... they're typically phenomenal."

"With Nintendo continuing to kill it with its first-party games ...I finally feel comfortable recommending the Wii U to curious bystanders."

"Nintendo fans have probably already picked up a console. Now its time for more casual fans to follow suit."

Personally, I've tried out the Wii U several times and there are some great games already out for it, like Mario Kart 8 and Pikmin 3. We would say, if you're looking for some gaming to do this summer, you can't really go wrong with the Wii U. If you want other opinions, check out that USG article by clicking here.
