Hello, Graduates! Here's Your Dream Job

Fretting about that first job out of college? Worried about your lack of hard skills?

Take your soft skills, especially your extensive expertise with cuddling, selfies, and passion for wildlife, across the planet to China. This is where the Giant Panda Protection and Research Center in Sichuan province has the perfect job for you: PANDA NANNY.

The panda caregiver job is a year long, pays 200,000 yuan (about $32,000) and provides an SUV plus room and board. The newly created dream job is part of an effort to increase global awareness of panda conservation. Applicants must be at least 22 years old, possess writing and photography skills plus "some basic knowledge of pandas."

Another thing to forget about? Your craving for Chipotle and Lattes. The organization tells ChinaDaily USA: "We expect that the applicants will be mainly white-collar workers from big cities. They are used to eating whatever they want, but inside the giant panda base, the choices will not be plentiful."

Better get to that resume fast. There are already some 100,000 jobseekers and the applicant deadline is July 15. Apply on this site. Warning: The site is in Chinese and while it's possible to translate via Chrome, I was so mesmerized by the panda video (complete with panda sounds) I never left the home page.
