3D Systems and Hasbro Partner on 3-D Printing for Kids

3-D printing is no longer only for adults. One of the sector's top firms, 3D Systems , is partnering with Hasbro to develop products for children utilizing 3-D printing capabilities, both companies announced in a joint press release. The terms of the collaboration have not been disclosed.

In the words of the press release, the two firms aim "to co-develop, co-venture and deliver new immersive, creative play experiences powered by 3D printing for children and their families later this year." It did not provide further details about those "experiences."

Hasbro has many signature properties it can bring to the partnership, including the Monopoly board game, the My Little Pony line, card game Magic: The Gathering, and the Nerf range of toys.
