On the heels of last week's release of a GoPro video of Felix Baumgartner's space jump comes a video a bit more amateurish, but almost as cool: a GoPro camera falling from a skydiving airplane and landing in a pig pen.

From the YouTube video's description, written by Mia Munselle, who purports to have found the GoPro camera:

Camera falls from a sky diving airplane and lands on my property in my pig pen.
I found the camera 8 months later and viewed this video.

According to a Twitter account claiming to belong to the same person, Munselle lives in Cloverdale, California.

Is the video fake? It doesn't look it, but the YouTube channel the video was posted to appeared to have been created just to post it. The Munselle Twitter account, however, dates back to 2010. And, as Australia's Herald Sun points out, "The GoPro unit is marketed as 'the world's most versatile camera' and Googling the words 'GoPro survival' returns a range of improbable but true survival stories involving GoPro cameras."

Also, finding a video like this one might just be all the motivation one needs to engage in social media.
