15 Things You Need To Know About The Elder Scrolls Online

Everyone's pretty excited about the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online-because it looks amazing-but there are a few aspects of the game that might be confusing to even the most experienced Dragonborn. Namely: what, exactly is, it? How much do I have to pay for it? And-most importantly- when can I start playing it?

Dan Dawkins, of CVG, put together a nifty little walkthrough that will help you understand the basics of ESO, along with some more details about the plot and general gameplay. The good news: there are no microtransactions (yay!), you're still in Tamriel, and it definitely still feels like a traditional Elder Scrolls game. The bad news? A really nasty Daedric Prince named Molag Bal is there to make life fairly difficult (and dangerous). That's part of the fun though, right?
