Whitney Houston's New Jersey home was first listed for sale in 2009, and bounced on and off the market until her untimely death prior to the Grammys in January 2012. Two years later, the home at 22 N. Gate Road in Mendham, N.J., is being marketed by a new brokerage with a new sticker price of $1,499,999, a 14.3 percent reduction from the last listing price of $1,750,000.

The listing capitalizes on Houston's legacy, proclaiming that Houston bought the home in 1987, the year her song "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" topped the charts. In 2005, the home was used as the setting for the 2005 reality TV show "Being Bobby Brown," which starred Houston and her ex-husband Bobby Brown for 11 episodes. (The couple appear at right in a 1996 photo.)

Sitting on five private acres with a gatehouse, the home's grounds include a swimming pool, tennis court and six-car garage. Inside, an entry way leads to a two-story great room, designed for entertaining with a sunken bar and stone fireplace. The home includes five bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Houston also owned a home in Atlanta that her 20-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown lived in a for a little bit. Brown just married Nick Gordon in a secret ceremony in early January. She's set to inherit the first 10 percent of Houston's $20 million estate when she turns 21.
