Boeing Wins 2 F-18 Support Contracts Friday

The Department of Defense awarded 18 defense contracts Friday, worth $491.7 million in total. Boeing won two of them:

  • A $38.1 million delivery order under a pre-existing contract to provide logistics support and associated material for U.S. Navy F/A-18E/F fighter jets through Dec. 31, 2015.

  • A $26.8 million delivery order under a different pre-existing contract to repair F/A-18 plane parts, also for the Navy. This second delivery order is to be completed by Dec. 31, 2016.
