UPS Warns -- Is FedEx Next?

The following video is from Friday's Investor Beat, in which host Chris Hill and Motley Fool analyst Ron Gross take a deep dive into the biggest investing stories of the day.

UPS warned late last month that not everyone would be getting their packages in time for Christmas, and has now announced that it will be lowering guidance for Q4 as a result of its holiday season problems. In the lead story on today's Investor Beat, Ron takes a look at how the company was unprepared for bad winter weather, the shortest holiday season in 10 years, and an "unprecedented" rise in online shopping. These are all things he feels the company should have, and could have, prepared for. Chris and Ron also discuss whether FedEx may report struggling with similar issues, which could lead to a similar report.
