I wonder if Ferraro's ears are ringing? The Italian maker of the famous Nutella brand Hazelnut spread has grown at an incredible pace to become a staple in many a U.S. home only to recently learn that The Hershey Company , the iconic American chocolatier, announced its intention to introduce a line of new chocolate spreads, including a hazelnut variety.
Well, success certainly breeds competition. And competition there will be. Hershey is no slouch in that department.
