Pentagon Awards $145 Million in Defense Contracts Monday

The Department of Defense awarded five defense contracts Monday, worth $145.5 million in total. Three publicly traded companies benefited from these contracts, namely:

  • Privately held Pond & Co., along with Aegion subsidiary Corrpro, won a $10 million firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to supply the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with cathodic protection and corrosion controls through Jan. 12, 2017.

  • Northrop Grumman was awarded a $36.3 million contract modification to supply logistics services and engineering support for U.S. Army RQ-5 "Hunter" Unmanned Aircraft Systems through Jan. 14, 2015.

  • ABM Industries won a $45 million firm-fixed-price contract to operate, maintain, repair, and perform some minor construction work on medical research laboratory facilities for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers through Jan 13, 2018.
