Over the past 20 years, the Internet has upended more than a few entrenched industries. Retail, though, has been affected perhaps more than any other.

And like all things technology, times they are a-changing once again. The impact of the mobile web is being felt from the mom-and-pop stores on Main Street, to the big-box giants like Wal-Mart , to the new(ish) kids on the retail block like and eBay .
