The wait for the 2015 Ford Mustang has finally come to an end for Mustang faithful. In truly global fashion, the all-new iconic muscle car was unveiled Thursday around the world-- six cities on four continents.

Our Motor Money team of Rex Moore and John Rosevear were front and center to share their impressions of the 50th anniversary model of the Mustang. They also had the rare opportunity to get Ford's CEO Alan Mulally, executive director of design Moray Callum, and chief engineer Dave Pericak to give their thoughts on the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang.

So what's the verdict? The new Mustang has some major improvements, but it isn't a radical departure from what came before. There are good reasons for that, it turns out. As Rex and John -- and Alan Mulally himself -- explain in this very special video, the 2015 Mustang is a global product. For the first time, Ford is going to sell the Mustang all over the world. But the 2015 Mustang hasn't been watered down for a global audience.

Instead, Ford made sure that the new Mustang retains its distinct American accent, along with plenty of all-American performance. Ford's research showed that that's what fans around the world have been craving, and it's on the way.

We learned a lot more. Ford designer Moray Callum, who led the Mustang's design team -- and who will take over as Ford's top global designer in January -- gave us a little bit of an idea of what it's like to approach the redesign of an icon. And the chief engineer, Dave Pericak, talked to us about what makes the new Mustang all-new -- and why, unlike most other Ford models the world over, the Mustang has its very own, unique platform.

It's all here in this very special on-the-scene edition of Motor Money. Watch the video below to experience the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang's unveiling right alongside John, Rex, and Ford's top executives, as they get up close with a shiny silver 2015 Ford Mustang GT convertible.
