Despicable Me: Minion Rush Gets 150 Million Downloads

Everyone's favorite endless runner (besides Temple Run, of course) just hit 150 million downloads. Modojo reports that Despicable Me: Minion Rush hit the huge mobile milestone along with picking up a 2013 BAFTA Kids' Vote in the "video game" category, and ages 7-14 voted it as their favorite gaming experience - no small potatoes, considering it was up against nine other titles.

According to MarketWatch, the Senior VP at Gameloft, the game's publisher, said that the team was "honored to have received this prestigious award." We're pretty sure they have some sort of update for the game ready next week to coincide with the home release of Despicable Me 2, so stay tuned for updates.
