Amazon Accidentally Outs Secret Donkey Kong Character

Pure Nintendo reports that Amazon Italy may have accidentally outed a secret playable character in the upcoming game "Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze." The company uploaded box art featuring all the regular Donkey Kong crew members (Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and Dixie Kong) that have already been announced, but this time, Cranky Kong was also included. Take a look below:

Adding to the probability that Cranky Kong is a playable character is the fact that since then, Amazon Italy has removed the above image from their site and replaced it with generic box art. It's possible that Reggie Fils-Aime will make an announcement about Cranky Kong in a few days at VGX, but if not, we'll just have to wait until the game itself is released.
