Heavy use of freshwater during the fracking process is one reason environmentalists have spoken out against the controversial drilling process. Thanks to companies like Apache Corp. , this talking point could be its one way out to pasture. It has recently fracked a well using 100% recycled water. Couple this with the work service companies like Halliburton and Nuverra Environmental Solutions are performing with Halliburton's H2O Forward service, and water constraints should evaporate.
