The Earnings Announcements You Should Be Watching

In this edition of The Consumer Countdown, consumer goods analysts Michael Finarelli and Sean O'Reilly join host Mark Reeth to take a look at the week ahead and preview some of the big earnings announcements from their sector.

On Thursday, Wal-Mart is reporting earnings, and Mike will be keeping a close eye on the numbers. Expectations are higher for this quarter than last, though not by much, and Mike isn't positive that the company can beat them.

Also on Thursday, Nordstrom will be announcing earnings, and Sean is excited about it. He acknowledges that the company hasn't been growing as fast as it once did, but the Nordstrom Rack brand continues to be a moneymaker for the company, and he thinks that's why Nordstrom will do well.
