Ford's F-150 Holds Its Ground in the Pickup Wars

General Motors' all-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado may have garnered rave reviews, but it hasn't yet put much of a dent in Ford's pickup sales. Sales of Ford's F-150 and its Super Duty siblings were strong again in October, rising almost 13%.


Ford isn't using excessive discounts to juice its sales, either. As Motley Fool contributor John Rosevear explains in this video, incentives on the 2013 F-150 haven't risen much in the last six months -- even as Ford's sales of the F-Series have broken 60,000 in each of those months.
