EA Announces "EA Sports UFC" Cover Star

Today, EA announced that Jon "Bones" Jones will be one of two new faces to grace the EA Sports UFC cover. Bones, the youngest champion in UFC history, describes himself as a "big fan" of the EA Sports franchise. "Appearing on a cover is one of those things you dream about as a kid," he says. The other fighter featured on the cover will be determined by fans in a voting contest between 16 UFC fighters and champions. To cast your vote now, head over to UFC.com.

EA Sports UFC isn't scheduled to be released until the Spring, but Digital Trends reports that with the upcoming release of the XBox One and PS4 EA is anxious to start releasing details about the game in order to build buzz. It's a little too early to tell how this one will turn out - there's not even a demo available for testing at this point - but we're hoping for hyper-realistic graphics and a fun Kinect component.
