AZZ Names New CEO

A familiar name now appears next to the president and CEO titles at AZZ . The company announced that Tom Ferguson has been named to both positions, and will also take a seat on its board. The appointments are effective immediately.

The move comes less than one week after the firm announced that its longtime president and CEO, David Dingus, passed away unexpectedly. At that time, AZZ Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO Dana Perry was named his interim replacement. Perry is to return to his former positions.

Ferguson has worked for many years in a variety of executive posts at firms in AZZ's sector. He was CEO of privately held FlexSteel Pipeline Technologies, and also had a number of positions during his 25 year tenure at Flowserve.
