This Forgotten Marvel Movie Has the Makings of a Surprise Hit

Amidst all the hype surrounding Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the new trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it's easy to forget that Walt Disney has another Marvel movie on the way, Fool contributor Tim Beyers says in the following video.

Judging from initial reactions to last week's London premiere, Thor: The Dark World could enjoy a surprising run in the weeks following its Nov. 8 debut in U.S. theaters. As of this writing, roughly 87% of the critics who had seen the film rated it "fresh," according to reviews aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

Thats a strong number, especially when you consider that Marvel's The Avengers won over 92% of critics and Iron Man 3 and the first film in the series, Thor, scored with 79% and 77% of critics, respectively, according to Rotten Tomatoes. All signs point to Disney enjoying a strong performance for the Phase 2 of Marvel movies.

Can investors expect Disney stock to rally if Thor: The Dark World outperforms expectations? Tim answers this question and more in the video. Please watch now and then leave a comment below to let us know where you stand.
