Dunkin' Brands Expands ... in Reno

Continuing its push into the American Southwest, Dunkin' Brands is opening up nine new restaurants in Reno, Nev.

Dunkin' announced the expansion plans Tuesday, confirming that it has just signed a multi-unit store development agreement with new franchisee HT2 Franchising of Reno. Over the course of five years from 2015 to 2020, HT2 will be opening nine new Dunkin' Donuts locales in the city.

Elaborating on its new relationship, Dunkin' noted that HT2 is led by entrepreneur Nicole Hansen, who not only knows the local market, being a Reno native, but who also knows the business, having previously owned six independent coffee ships in Washington state.

Its local business therefore is in good hands, which is fortunate because Dunkin' says it has now sold out its franchises in Reno.
