This Week's Biggest Consumer Goods News

In today's episode of Consumer Countdown, Mark Reeth is joined by Motley Fool consumer goods analysts Michael Finarelli and Sean O'Reilly to discuss some of the biggest consumer goods stories from the past few days.

First they take a look at Netflix , which blasted through its old 52-week high thanks to some very strong earnings. However, Sean is more than a little worried about some of the comments CEO Reed Hastings has made about his company's stock price.

Then, Mike takes a look at McDonald's and its "challenging global environment." He thinks that's a bit of a cop-out, but also believes that McDonald's remains a strong investment. And finally, Sean talks about what Hasbro's doing right in its girls segment and how it can continue its winning trend through the holiday season.
