Netflixhas now crossed the 40 million subscriber mark and has more subscribers in the U.S. than HBO. Shares popped initially on the news but pulled back later in the day. One surprising voice warning investors that the stock price may have become a bit frothy is the company's own CEO, Reed Hastings. In the lead story on today's Investor Beat, Jason and Jim discuss Netflix's incredible run, and why they would be very wary of buying today at this incredibly lofty multiple.
Then the guys look at four stocks making moves on today's market. Chipotlehit another all-time high after reporting third-quarter earnings last week. Shares of Coach pulled back after first-quarter profits fell 1.6%, with same-store sales falling in North America nearly 7%. Appleunveiled its new iPad Air at an event in San Francisco, but shares showed no major pop on the news. And RadioShackfell very hard yet again today, on news of abysmal third-quarter results.
